I Ching Series
The I Ching, or Book of Changes, is one of the oldest divination texts in the world, its hexagrams offering insight into cycles of time, states of being, and the shifting balance of yin and yang.
In this series of paintings, I explored several hexagrams that spoke strongly to me. Each work weaves the formal hexagram lines with layered fields of color, symbolic forms, and personal imagery. Some came quickly and directly; others unfolded slowly, like meditations stretched across days. The results are uneven, but together they form a record of my ongoing dialogue with this ancient text.
