"Playful" Series Update
I’ve revisited my “Playful” series with a bolder, deeper blue that makes the shapes and dots come alive. Each 8x8” painting began as an improvisation — abstract vessels, arches, and symbols tumbling across the surface like toys on a patterned cloth. The rhythm of dots and lines connects them, giving a sense of movement and conversation between forms. The new palette feels both calmer and more vivid, as if these little worlds have found their voice. I’ll be giving them away today at the No Kings protest — small gifts of color and joy shared freely.
Here are three of the four placements. I forgot to shoot a pic of the first one I left.
