Alchemical Geometry IV

Alchemical Geometry III

Alchemical Geometry II

Alchemical Geometry

I belong to a dream group where we experiment with various ways of honoring our dreams. One of our projects was to find geometrical shapes in our dreams. One of mine was about two men fighting over a woman. One man had a head that was a white corn tortilla, and the other's head was a pita bread with the side sliced off so his mouth was a vesica piscis. There was also a black and white dog, a white building, and some red semi-circles. One of the other people in the group pointed out that there were only three colors in the dream: red, black and white. These colors are highly significant in alchemy. The shapes are classical, so I started playing with them on Paper by 53. Here are some of the images That resulted.

Happy (?) Accident

Daydreams
I was not terribly pleased with how the millefiori lagoon dried. The heat was on, and the lagoon formed crevices. The wall on the edges is far from transparent. However, I accept that this is how this piece is. I was very stuck because I was unsure how to proceed, but now I am moving on. This is a finished piece.

This Week in the Studio ...

I continued working on the series of self-portraits I started before the holidays. These are a lot of fun!

Who IS that?

Amusing Myself Again (this one will have a shiny coating like the others)
