A Stroke of Insight

A friend sent this web address in her email and I was blown away by the video. Jill Bolte Taylor, a neuroanatomist, woke up one morning having a stroke, and she explored that reality and recounts it here.

Enjah Stone Chooser

Since I am in several worlds these days, I want to report back.

In Human Age, there is one generic avatar image for women, and one for men. For my profile, I made this image. I am one of the EggHeads, so I donned the conehead and put myself in front of backdrop of Osprey posing on a huge pile of rocks in SL. My first job was stone chooser, so that is why I chose this image.

In Human Age, I am very close to fulfilling my skills, so that I can begin to focus on the next step, preparing for my first quest, that of learning to start a fire (YAY!)

Enjah in Twinity

Here I am in Bodega Gallery, Portland, Oregon, USA, Twinity. Yes, I am that generic avatar in front of one of my paintings. I even had a visitor today. Because Twinity is in its beta phase, I can spend as much as I like. I have gone into virtual debt putting up my paintings and furnishing my gallery. I gave up my apartment. I don't intend to cook, sleep or use the bathroom in Twinity, and I can visit with people in the gallery or in their locations.

Return of the Coyote

I, with my blogger name, ElleCoyote, rejoined There.com again last night, and spoke with Osprey. I had, unfortunately, chosen to purchase a hairdo similar to hers, so we looked like twins in our "Medusas". Now I have different hair, and my snazzy shades, so there will be no mistaking me for Osprey!

Good TV! Modern Marvels: Environmental Tech II

This is a diagram of a home composting machine, one of the environmental technologies featured in Environmental Tech II, shown on Modern Marvels, one of the History Channels regular shows.

Also covered were amazing solar power plants in Spain, a sail that helps conserve fuel usage by ocean-going ships, an air-powered car developed in France, and other innovations. To see an article on this topic, click here.
